21st. Grace.

                                                                                                                                                                                    Patience is a virtue

                   A virtue is a grace

                   Grace is a little girl

                   who doesn’t wash her face!

Told to me by my ‘Little Grandma’ when I

            Was a tiny girl.

Grace or Graceful?

There is grace in a group of flowers,

In the weeping of a Willow tree,

In a Swan sailing slowly on the lake.

In the sweep and swoop of birds on the wing.

In the “other-worldliness” of the Lakes

and the Mountains, here before us

and here after we have gone.

‘As graceful as a Gazelle’, I have heard said,

The Ballerina, balanced on her pointed toes

The girl being presented to the  Queen,

curtseying and handing her a bouquet.

The Bride, processing down the Aisle,

The gracefulness of the sleeping infant.

Our gratefulness for grace and Gracefulness.
